Magdala

Magdala – a small fishing village on the Sea of Galilee – contains beautifully preserved elements of an early classical colonnade, complete with Doric capitals and heart-shaped columns at the corners. These elements were replicated for reconstruction of the 1st century synagogue at Nazareth Village.
